An Update!
Hey all,
Life has seriously gotten in the way of those oh-so-important things, like blogging! But, here I sit, with a few extra minutes...watching Brothers and Sisters and so I shall update!
By the way..is anyone watching Dexter or True Blood? Because if you are not, you are seriously missing out! I am OBSESSED, like seriously, it's not healthy..obsessed with Dexter. I have loved Michael C. Hall since Six Feet Under (another BRILLIANT show you have to watch), and I love his ability to play the fucked up, whether it be mommy issues, OR Daddy issues, he is genius on both shows!
We discovered Dexter about a year and a half ago, I was pregnant with Lily, and was reading something online about Dexter and Netflixed the first season. When it arrived I begged James to watch it with me because he wasn't that interested. Well we ended up staying up until 3am that first night and finished the first season. It happened to be a couple months before Season 2 started, so we were ecstatic last Sept. when Dexter started up again!
Oh, and True Blood, well it's just like a sexy version of Twilight, like if Bella and Edward lived in the South and all the Vampires were sexual deviants, and the humans were kinda stupid. Okay, so maybe it's not really like Twilight, but I love it so! Seriously though, it's pretty dirty. ;-)
So it's been awhile since I shared anything scrap-related, so I figured I would share some of my recent My Acrylic Album DT work!

This fun album is one I made as a recipe book of sorts...have you ever gotten one of those cookie mixes in a jar? That's what this little album is all about...recipes you can layer in a jar! They make awesome Christmas gifts for co-workers and neighbors, this little baby has a ton of recipes for soup, stews, cookies and pudding in it! So fun!

This album was so fun to make! I wanted to make an art journal/sketch book and thought that this cute little skull would be perfect! I used some Love, Elsie papers and pieces from Elsie's Wonderland kit that I bought a couple months ago! It's so cute and fun!

I made this little baseball album for my nephew Marquee. He is the cutest little four year old, and he is OBSESSED with the Seattle Mariners! He loves to watch my mom's (who is also obsessed with the M's) highlights video from the '95 season! How cute is that?!
He LOVED his album, and I'm told he looks at it all the tme in his Mariner's themed bedroom!
I used Moxxie's line called "Grand Slam" on this album, the little embellishments are perfect for a mini like this!

This page was so fun to create! I LOVE Ali Edwards' "Today You" series, so I thought I would play paparazzi to Jake for the day! It was so fun, and afterward my sister saw the pictures and asked me: "Does Jake EVER wear pants?!" I cracked up, and said NO! He is always naked like he's allergic to clothes or something! He will start off fully dressed, and then by noon he's sockless..by 3pm he's missing pants and by bathtime he's usually ready to throw off what's left (usually just underwear!) and hop in! He's such a goofball!
So that's what I've been up to! I PROMISE to update more soon!
